Edible Planter Alert
The sweet pea 'Incense Mix', Lathyrus odoratus, offered at the 2009 UNL Horticulture Club Garden Expo is a variety that is known for its exceptional scent and attractive flowers. We do not recommend you eat any part of this plant. If any part of this particular variety is ingested, please contact your physician and let them know that you consumed Lathyrus odoratus, an inedible, ornamental sweet pea. Please contact us by e-mail at unlhortclub@yahoo.com to let us know if you purchased sweet pea 'Incense Mix', Lathyrus odoratus from our sale; this plant was included in the Tumbling Tom tomato hanging baskets.
